Safety deposit boxes are a great place to store important documents, jewelry or sentimental items to prevent them from being lost, stolen, or damaged in a fire. With a safety deposit box you will always know that your valuables are in a safe and easily accessible place. This cost-effective service provides the convenience and peace of mind of being able to securely drop your deposits at any time, day or night. Deposits are processed by our team on the next business day. There is no fee to set up this service, and night deposit bags are available for purchase at your local branch for a nominal cost. 

Wire transfers allow you to send money to a recipient both domestically and internationally. A fee applies to complete a wire transfer.

We will need to provide the following information when sending a wire transfer:

• Sender's Legal Name

• Sender's Street Address, City and Postal Code (PO Boxes are not acceptable)

• Recipient's Bank Name

• Bank Address and Transit and Institution Number/SWIFT Code/ABA*

• Recipient's Name

• Recipient's Street Address, City, Country and Postal Code (PO Boxes are not acceptable)

• Recipient's Account Number or IBAN if applicable

*Transit number is required for Canadian transfers, Swift Code and IBAN for international transfers, and ABA for transfers to the United States

With Canadians travelling to many locations around the world, access to a wide variety of foreign currency is more important than ever.

US Dollars are immediately available at Williams Lake and District Credit Union. Other foreign currencies are available, typically within a few days of order. Ordering currency before you travel avoids any potential difficulties with exchanging currency in a foreign country. With access to many global currencies, you can get the cash you need for even the most exotic vacation. Please contact your branch to order foreign currency.

Automated funds transfers allow business members to process preauthorized debits to their customers' accounts, or to make payroll deposits to their employees' accounts. AFT transactions can be originated through manual entry to our online portal, or by creation of a CPA Standard 005 file from your software solution. The AFT online portal is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, ensuring that you can input your AFT transactions when you have the time.
